He applies this background to his work, using musicality to inform his choices and tone. Eric loves performing to a live audience, and his goal is always to make them feel included in the artwork.

Iowa born and raised, Eric set off for the big city with wide eyes and fun socks to attend the Chicago College of Performing Arts. There he’s worked with the likes of Stephen Schellhardt, Jane Lanier, Carolyn Brady, Barbara Zahora, Donterrio, Max Maxin and more to develop his creativity and technique.
At CCPA, he’s taken advantage of opportunities to present student-directed work, design and program lights, and finally make some friends.
When not in the theater, you can find Eric being a dweeb: creating his own Dungeons & Dragons campaign, at a Cubs game, or writing original music.
